I am a self-described graphic design and production maven. The word maven comes from the Yiddish meyvn, meaning "one who understands." But to be a maven, you must do more than just understand a topic; you must also know its ins and outs. Mavens are often the people you turn to as experts in a field, but one does not become a maven overnight. That kind of experience comes with an accumulation of knowledge, expertise and discipline acquired over many years.

After spending thirty vibrant years working in some of Vancouver’s most esteemed and celebrated studios, including The Design Works (now Letterbox Design), Høy Jacobsen & Co., Hyphen Communications and Toolbox Design, I am delighted to be back designing in my hometown of Victoria. I bring my extensive skills and abilities to deliver intentional and values-based design and production with a lighthearted, collaborative and thoughtful approach.
